New girl here - need some friends?!

Hey everybody! I'm Beth and I'm 'new' here - I have had an account for a while but never used it or made any friends on here! Whoops! So, a little info about me..
I live in the UK, and I'm 19. I was always quite a thin child due to the amount of competitive dance that I did and then after I quit as I started high school, the weight piled on due to the lack of exercise. I started to eat more junk food because it was so accessible and easier for me.

I've realised now how much weight I've actually gained, and I'm determined to do something about it. My family have had issues with heart problems and diabetes and I don't want any of these things to happen to me, so I am going to try my best to do something about it! The numbers on the scale don't mean as much to me as what I actually LOOK like - I would love to lose three stone, but more to the point, I want to be a comfortable size 10, in comparison to the 14 (almost 16) that I am now. I want to feel better about myself and gain back all the confidence I used to have!
I'm also starting out running (I'm not doing very well!) I can only run for about a minute (which is a struggle!) and then have to walk for a minute and half to 2 minutes. I suppose it's better than not running, though! I currently have the Couch to 5k app which I'm trying to stick to!

So basically, I would love to chat to you guys and make some friends and try to help motivate others and keep motivated! Please feel free to send me a friend request or a message! :)

Feel free to friend me (that goes for everyone) I am from the UK too. Near-ish London
  • I will figure out how to send you a friend request, I am also new to this site. I run everyday, the amount of time I run varies sometimes its an 45 min, 50 min, or an hour but I have to push myself to do this! Running is not easy but with the right attitude and the right music you can do it!! Each time you run you will get better so don't give up!
  • Hi, Jessica! Thanks! I'll go accept your request now! At the minute I HATE running! haha! But I want to love it! :)
