Hey all,
Can anyone recommend a pair of shoes for weight lifting in the $100-150 range. Not really fussy on brands or colours. What have you found works well and what should I look for in a shoe?

I'm currently using the nike romaleos because I got them really cheap they are normally on the pricier end of the spectrum. I only use them for squat/front squats or doing olympic lifts..
The adidas powerlift 2.0s are a good shoe that I've used before. it has a raised heel ( equivlent to having a 2.5lb/1.1kg plate under their heels) Elevating the heels allows you to squat deeper with a closer stance and more upright torso. You will feel more balanced doing squats..
Or a cheap pair of converse chuck taylors would suffice.. I still use chucks for my pushing and pulling lift days...0 -
I'll 2nd Chuck Taylor's, they have been around forever, tried, tested and true for weightlifting. Price ranges anywhere from 40$-60$. Just bought a new pair a couple of weeks ago.0
