All I'm saying is, this doesn't belong in motivation and support. It's about a shirt for God's sake.

Honey - it DOES motivate people BIG TIME. First of all it inspires them and makes their day when I turn them on to the fact that such beautiful things exist. They may have had other things on their mind and have not checked the Dolce and Gabbana website lately, so they did not realise that D&G was selling such a nice shirt. Also if they are trying to lose weight they can be motivated like, I could try to reach my goal sooner rather than later so that I can buy the right size, otherwise, if I buy some stuff before I lost my weight, then I will have to replace my shirts. Even though I need to lose weight I am wearing a size 0 generally and in this case a size 2 which is an Italian designer size 38 so fortunately I do not have that problem.

I literally cried I laughed so hard when I read this. It inspires us because you tell us that such beautiful things exist? I just . . . I can't even.

Guess what today I received my beautiful D&G blouse. This is the moment that we have all been waiting for. I will take a photo of it when my dad leaves the house (otherwise he'll be like OMG why are you taking a picture of it) and I will share it with you all. It fits perfectly, looks so classy and the fabric (crepe de chine silk) is absolutely marvelous.

I didn't even KNOW this was the moment we were all waiting for.

    I don't even feel PREPARED.

Yes. She'll be wearing it to a wine tasting along with Dolce fragrance and beige matte nail polish. Her beagle will be accompanying her to this event. It takes place abroad. She does not drink alcohol but will instead be networking, rubbing elbows and enjoying the company of a well heeled crowd.

We can't wait 'til she tells us more about it!

I have so much to learn.

My feeling is that since it's also kind of sheer, so if you wore it with some black skinny jeans under it, you'd see where they begin. That's such a nice touch.

Good grief. OP is a bit of a train wreck with her posts on the Saga of the Shirt. Seriously, honey, save it for Facebook.

This blouse has changed my life in so many ways I can't even begin to explain. Tomorrow the sun will definitely shine brighter and the birds will sing a lil sweeter

So...what if an enormous height discrepancy made rubbing elbows impossible? Or what if the heel breaks on her shoe so that she is no longer part of the "well heeled" crowd?

I guess her shirt will save her. I mean, it's polka dotted, so there's that.

TIL that a $700 blouse is not an overpriced and asinine way for one to spend money, but is in fact motivational and supportive. I am rejoicing from the gloriousness of it all.

It's just not my style. I'd rather spend that kind of money on something else. But I do suggest a camisole. Have fun wearing your shirt.

It actually looks exactly like the blouse I used to have which I bought at Forever 21 for $18. Mine was also sort of sheer. It wasn't silk, though. I bet hers is much softer. That must be what makes up the price difference, the softness. I wish I could touch $682 worth of softness. I bet it's heavenly!

I hope you understand the comments, this is a site to encourage other and no fault of yours, but most of us don't spend our hard earned money on things like a blouse. I am happy that it made you happy and I am sure you have friends that can relate to spending that kind of money on blouse. Someone may not have their rent , No its not your problem but try to consider other in your post.

Once I got a frauda bag (prada knock off) from the flea market.

I was completely uninspired by it and that is probably why I gained weight.

I was trying HARD to stay out of this thread but I. can't. even. DYEFashion?

NO camisole. The sheerness of the shirt can only effect it's true beauty and luster when worn with a bra that stands out beneath it, such as the pants that barely peep through. A camisole would make the ensemble entirely droll and not at all elbow rub worthy. How very dare!

I should consider ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE WORLD when I make a thread on the internet?

    Ridiculousness.

This is a perfect example of how people on MFP forums can be a@#holes. Who cares if it is classified in the right thread. We are, after all, using a site that doesn't care if we use the right word for loose. Oops... I mean lose.

I think that shirt is just gorgeous. It's so gorgeous that I'm positive that it has filled the hole that was left in your heart when your friend Kazam or Karnac or whatever dumped you.

You just keep on keeping on, OP.

You got it! We shouldn't have food diaries either because what if someone from a third world country logs on and sees that?

This also applies to real life. You shouldn't walk in public just because you can, because someone in a wheelchair might see you.

Did the OP seriously pay $700 for that piece of see-thru fabric? It looks like something from Target.
