If you've just recently started exercising like me, you're probably sore right now. No pain, no gain right?
Which of your body parts are sore today?
.....
For me, one of my inner thigh muscles has been cramping when i bend my leg. It'll go away eventually. This is something I've never experienced before in that area. I've been walking incline twice a day, almost every day.

Left hip. Tried a Body Pump class last night and over strained my hip muscle on these floor slidders.
Fun...

My calves are sore from yesterday's treadmill workout.0

My pains were pre-fitness. I'm hoping the exercise will jumpstart some healing for me. Both my knees are awful and I have been experiencing pain in my right hip. I think the hip pain is a combination of compensating for the knee pain and a twice badly broken left angle. My weight is shifted incorrectly. I've been trying out the balance exercises on Wii Fit Plus to lessen this impact. Another issue is that I've recently started back on a real corporate job (normally I'm solely work-from-home self-employed) and am carrying a bag on my left shoulder. This added weight on just that one side seems to be adding to my hip issues too. Maybe I need to switch to a backpack to distribute the weight more evenly?0

My Knees :-( I swear for being 28, I have the knees of a 90y.o.0

Left hip from an old injury that shows up when I over do it or have a new workout. Calves from playing Wii believe it or not. I tell you that Wii is a sneaky work out!!!0

Quads, triceps, pecs, shoulders , lats, and whatever that thing is that connects the bicep to the forearm. And for some reason the tendons in my neck are a little stiff.
It hurts, but it feels good.0 -
Don't get me started! I have been working out for about a year, but that doesn't make the pain go away. My knee is sore from the elliptical yesterday, my arms are sore from rows, and my back is sore because it's just sore all the bleeping time! My boyfriend makes fun of me because I moan and groan like a grandma.0

My thighs and butt hurts today. Been doing lunges and squats.0

Defiantly my back today. Since the beginning of the week my back has been hurting, first it was lower since I do have lower back problems anyways and now today is the whole dang thing!! Curse me, I feel like I'm 100 years old sometimes which is no fun at the age of 21!!
I hope all our aches and pains go away soon

Right now I have sore hip flexors, sore glutes, sore quads, and sore rear deltoids. I also have abdominal cramps right now, partially from ab exercises and partially from being at mid-cycle at the moment (I am one of those women who is "blessed" with "feeling" her fertile window each month). I'd really just like to be sitting in a hot bath at home right now instead of being at work!0

For me it's my upper thighs, and the cartlidge in my knees...right along the side of the kneecap...damn that hurts...and my armpits lol...i'm just out of shape, and starting to feel the past two days of workouts.0

TO SILLYGOOSE 1997: It sounds like you could have fibromyalgia. It isn't in your "head"...it is real and it causes you to hurt all over.0

everyday it's something new depending on the previous days workout, yesterday it was my legs from increasing distance running today it's my right foot from yoga and tomorrow it will probably be everything after a day of running and body pump  No serious problems other than being over 30 :noway: Oh well, I'm with the no pain no gain....but only to the point of permanent damage  :laugh:0

I would hate to think that is the case. I've been working out pretty hard and my knee always hurts after the elliptical (I know I should stop but I love it!). My back has hurt since I gave birth 8 1/2 years ago. I think mostly I'm just starting the feel the effects of getting older :sad:0 -
Patellofemoral Pain or Anterior Knee Pain
Sharp pain inside the knee when accending or decending stairs, pushing hard with the legs. It started on night after hockey this fall and I have been battling it ever since. I live in a very small town where you get put on a month long waiting list to see a doctor so as of late I have been treating the knee myself.
I am using the R.I.C.E. method:
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevate
Along with a week long regime of Ibuprophen 400's 3 times a day for pain relief and to reduce swelling.
Can't wait to go do something with out feeling like I am going to pay for it after!!!
Cheers!!!0 -
Left bicep. I've only been doing the elliptical recently and my calves were fine after 3 consistent days since for years I've been upper body focused so I think the one-arm pain is b/c I sleep with my arms under my pillow, lol!0

My legs hardly ever hurt. No matter how much I run or do the stair climber. I made the mistake of telling my yoga instructor that and today my legs are totally sore. lol Love my yoga instructor.0

My right wrist and it swollen and I have no idea why.
Also, my triceps. I've been working those pretty hard. I realized those are the only part of my arm I still can't see very well, but I sure can feel it. LOL!0 -
Abs!! and I have pole burn on my wrist from my pole fitness class! ugh.0

if you want ibuprofen to act as an anti-inflammatory, take 2 three times a day...it's easy on your stomach so you don't have to worry...I have chronomalasia in my knees, and that's what the doctor told me because i hate T3's...good on ya for the RICE method though, the ice keeps the swelling down...i like the A535 ICE when I need it, helped with my pulled muscles along my ribs too...i also have a Fox Bike racing knee brace...full of metal and velcro lol the only problem is when i take it off my knee aches...look into something that will give you a little support like the tensor bandages or something...you can find them at your pharmacy. a little support goes a long way in the pain department. One more thing lol make sure your runners don't have access tread or those fancy designs on the bottom, the more pattern on the bottom of your shoe, the more your legs have to compensate for balance ( i didn't believe it either, but when i bought my new runners i listened to my Dr. and sure enough, my knees don't hurt so bad, not like the super tread I had on my last pair that looked like ice tires). Good luck, I know it sucks0 -
sorry I spelled that wrong...i have Chondromalacia0

Yea, I hope not, I was diagnosed with Fibro when I hit puberty, it runs in the family through my fathers side and I'm sore all the freakin time for over 10 years now, my muscle groups go through searing pain as if I pulled/sprained them, even the muscles in my hands and forearms. And that's without working out. BUT, working out does help the muscles, so I do it anyway.0 -
It feels like someone has punched me in the stomach! Too much ab work the last 2 days, but it's all good for me i suppose!!0

Thanks, Much appreciated!!!0
