If you feel like you are too short on time to exercise, just eat at a calorie deficit and you'll lose weight.0
-
Most of us here have very limited time - but you have to make time, get organised and make it happen.........if you really want to get in shape than attack it like a mission.
You can do it!0 -
Just eat better, smaller portions to start off with.0

Yeah you just need to make the time. I use to work two jobs. Day and night. I worked around it, and fitted in training where I could, and moved my meals around to work in as well. It can be hard but for me I wanted it and made it happen. Good luck with reaching your goal0

you have time to eat... so you have time to lose! you can do it0

I didn't realize how much out of shape I was until my new sister-in-law posted pictures of us on facebook. I really need support and tips on how to diet and exercise when you really don't have time too. I love organic farming and work full time 12 hour rotating shifts with an hour comute each way.
i also work full time, twelve hour, rotating shifts. my commute is also about an hour each way. i can't find time to exercise either. so i make time.
get out there and find something you love to do. i used to love sleeping in on my days off. now i love waking up early to go for a run or a bike ride.0 -
also when it comes to time, im a single mum to 3 kids under the age of 7. i have 4 businesses and im studying for a degree. but weightloss thats a promise to myself im doing it in and around! you can do it too!0

my treadmill has saved me. i also feel time isn't on my side with kids around, work, etc....but the treadmill is there. even 30min with 1min high impact sprinting between 1min walk breaks...AMAZING!!!! I also substitute carbs (potato, pasta, etc) with a big salad at dinner. Once you start logging all your food on here, you will realize just how many extra calories you were consuming everyday. YIKES. Good luck.0

weightloss is 80% diet (calorie defecit) and 20 % exercise.
Pack your lunh/meals all three plus snacks, eat only what you bring, say no thanks for junk food offerings at work.
Get a food scale, measure, weight, record EVERYTHING that goes in your wouth honestly and accuretly, dont try to trick the system because you wont lose weight anyway. Log EVERYTHING even if you have a terrible day and go horribly over on your calories, if you are sick or just not hungry and go way under calories....LOG IT ALL
ALSO.... set your calories to lose .5- 1 per week. The slower you go the better you will look in the end, plus it gives you more calories to work with so u wont feel as hungry, which may cause you to binge.
Use whatever diet works for you just keep in mind it should be one that can endure a life time.
Dont have "cheat days", I have ONE "cheat meal" per month, and possibly every two months if you can.
Take measurments, when the scale doesnt move that doesnt mean you arent changing. Lift heavy objests when you can...no time for gym? Do wall push ups, use your kids for weighted push ups, fill empty milk jugs with sand or water and learn how to do arm extensions, kick backs etc....... Use your resources and what you have, no fancy gym membership or lu lu melon out fit required.
Be a weekend warrior on exercise if need be, and try to get one good walk in durring your work week if you can.
You're post sounds like a whinny excuse, grow up! We all have lives, kids, long hours and very little time durring the day/work week.
You need to make time, or go on looking/feeling how u currently do.
Choice is yours now, more excuses as to why you cant? Or start right now and post a success story 6mos to a year from now?
Your choice, choose wisely my friend.0 -
Well said! I work 60 hours a week, have three kids, a house, and responsibilities. I took responsibility for my actions. I put unhealthy food in my mouth. I gained weight due to my poor choices! My new choice is to be healthy! I choose to eat healthy. I choose to make changes! Do I fall off the wagon? No! I do eat pizza, burgers, and have wine! But in moderation! This life is yours to choose who and what you want to be. I choose to be healthy,. I choose to stop making excuses. I choose to make better choices. What do you choose?weightloss is 80% diet (calorie defecit) and 20 % exercise.

Do whatever you can to get enough sleep. (My sleep situation is weird so I understand.) Focus on food first and exercise second.0

It's really hard to find time sometimes, so maybe just do a little at a time. Get up half an hour earlier and go for a walk/jog/run.

I'm a working mom and wife. I just get up earlier to make exercise time happen. If you really want to lose you make time. Excuses don't burn calories.0

Hi,
I've been struggling with personal challenges in my plan to lose weight. I've learned that while good nutrition AND exercise are best, nutrition is by far the most important. Someone once told me "you can't out-exercise a bad diet". I've learned that is very true.
Focus on eating well and workout when you can. Even a little is better than none.
I could also use some friends for support!
