Need a little help on weight loss plateau

Hello everybody,
I'm new here but have signed up last year. I gained 10kgs bulking up, and then went on a diet and lost 10kgs again. All was well and good, and then I kinda had maintenance for a long time, and now I'm trying to lose more again so I can carry on to decrease my body fat percentage and get my six pack. The problem is, I'm stuck at 61.6kg. I started cutting again since 11 days ago, and have been following and tracking my foods.

I take in 1600 calories per day, which is a 600 deficit from 2200 maintenance. I heard people say not to go under 1600 for men otherwise I'd be entering starvation mode or something, so I haven't done so. I also haven't done much cardio of late, except for 2 days. I will try to do more cardio. I haven't lost anything within these 11 days. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? I would like some advice from the community. Thank you.

Oh, I'm 170cm, 61.6kg. Not too sure about BF% atm will check tomorrow morning, but you can see faint outlines of top abs, though I still think its around 14-15%.

could be just water, i would wait it out a little more before stressing too much

Definitely wait a little more before trying to do anything drastic, and stay well hydrated. If that doesn't work, consider doing some different exercise or change your diet to something you're not usually used to. When I get 'plateaus' I switch to maintenance calories for a week and then back, helped a lot.
  • Thanks for the answers guys. I'm actually afraid that I won't have enough muscle mass once I cut down to that slim...I can't decide whether to do a clean bulk first or what...sigh. What do you guys think? Because right now I look....nothing amazing. But nothing horrible either. Just, normal?

starvation mode doesn't exist, you're either eating more than 1600 without realising it or retaining water, simple as that
