Does sparkling water have the same benefits of 'normal' water. I'm referring mostly to the natural flavored, 0 sugar, 0 calorie, sparkling waters that you can buy at most grocery stores.

    The non-flavoured ones are fine.

Does it hydrate you? Yes. There's your benefit - same as non-bubbled water.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonated_water

"Carbonated water (also known as club soda, soda water, sparkling water, seltzer water, or fizzy water) is water into which carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved. This process, known as carbonation, is a process that causes the water to become effervescent. Carbonated water is the defining ingredient of carbonated soft drinks."

Check the ingredients. If the ingredients are: water, carbon dioxide, then you have the same benefits as drinking water. I will say- it can make you burpy/farty.

^ op. Don't listen to him he's not serious. Just make sure to put some raspberry keystones in your carbonated water to make up for the high sodium content and you will be fine.

Otherwise you'll blow up like a balloon and explode from all that sodium . . .

Yes. This is why I said key STONES instead of keytones. The stones will pop the tummy balloon just in time :)

Carbonated water has extra dihydrogen monoxide, which is what creates the carbonation. So you have to be careful not to breath while you drink; even breathing in a little could kill you!!
