Is Tennis any good??

I play tennis 5 days out of 7 at a very serious standard for 2 hours at a time,90 mins actually on court allowing 30 mins for short breaks inbetween games,singles too...... How good is this for my plan to lose at least a stone along with my calorie controlled diet?

    Tennis is excellent cardio. It burns plenty of cals.

    any sort of "movement" exersice is good for yu tennis if you run with it is great...i have started playing badmiton and is helping the old fitness levl as well as calories!

    I'd definitely say so. My favorite part about it is that you're not really thinking about cardio or burning calories at all. One minute I feel like I'm beat, but the next I find myself sprinting for a ball that I barely think I can reach. lol

    Tennis is a great and fun calorie burner exercise! That is pretty awesome!
