Trying to build muscle with in 6 months

Hi im new to the fitness lifestyle and wanted some advice on weight training so that i may achieve the muscle mass im 6'1 and 160 lbs LOL slim build so id like to bulk up a little

    eat at a caloric surplus while hitting your macro nutrient numbers.. Find a program that fits your needs that has a good amount of compound lifts ie overhead presses/bench/squats/deadlifts

    Start with Starting Strength or Stronglifts 5x5 program. They are ideal for skinny young men who want to get strong. And get ready to eat a whole lot of food. Make sure you're getting lots of protein.
