Hi! I'm Tammy.
I was recently diagnosed with a minor heart issue (my mitral valve doesn't close all the way causing blood to flow back into my heart - not a major issue at this point, but important enough), high cholesterol and a couple vitamin deficiencies. That was the wake-up call I needed.
I started at 288.6 lbs at the doctor, and in the last five days I've lost exactly a pound so I'm happy about that. I've started with tracking my diet/calories and walking once a day for as long as I can and I'm exceeding my predetermined goals there. It's early, but I'm encouraged.
I'm looking for friends. If you'd like to add me, please do. I will need all the encouragement I can get and I'm an encouraging person myself so I can certainly help you.
