Holy crow! Today is only day 1 and I am ravenous!!!! Rar!!!! I am going to post what I did today and make sure I did it right:

Breakfast: Chocolate Shakeology/Ice/Water
Snack #1: Gala Apple
Lunch: Chocolate Shakeology/Ice/Water
Snack #2: Tetley Green Tea (1 cup) - no cream or sugar
Dinner: 4oz of Chicken/Garden Salad and 2tbsp of FF Ranch Dressing
Snack #3: Chocolate Shakeology/Ice/Water

I think I was supposed to have another cup of tea today. Thoughts?

Also, do you workout during the cleanse? I'm doing TurboFire and supposed to do HIIT15 and Sculpt 30. Should I still do it or is it a bad idea?

One more thing: MFP is telling me I am starving myself.

If you feel like you have enough energy for your workouts, then you'll be o.k. Just be careful.

I found that the very limited calories really couldn't fuel me sufficiently to really workout hard. I walked my dogs during my 3/4 days cleanses and that was about all I could do without completely crashing during workouts because of lack of fuel.

    It's a 3-day cleanse!

I've done the 3-day cleanse too.. and I too was ravenous!! On the bright side, it's only 3 days.

The only modification I'd suggest is adding a piece of fruit to your breakfast shake (banana or something).

As for workouts, it is suggested to minimize the intensity since you're not intaking nearly the same amount of calories as normal.

I blogged about my 3-day cleanse on here... feel free to peruse it for any other tips or encouragement that you're not alone! LOL

Oh yes... and I lost 4 pounds in the 3 days; however, I put 2.5 of those back on right away, which I think is normal. But it was good to clean out the intestines and get a jump start with getting back on track. :-)
  • ive never heard of this and had to google it. personally its not something i would ever try unless i ran it by my personal physician, but since you aren't asking for our opinion as much as a fact check, here is what i found. :)

I'm planning on doing my cleanse after I finish SI6 in 2 more weeks. I will be limiting my activity to low impact cardio, ie., walking. Can't wait

So, yesterday I weighed in at 128.6lbs (beginning of Day 1) and this morning it was just 127.2lbs. I was expecting a lb or two more...

I also took my measurements but I wont do it again until the morning after Day 3, when I can work out again!

The cleanse is a jump start not a quick fix.....give it time. Once you are done with the cleanse and you incorporate the shakes into you daily routine it is going to help you get the result you are looking for. Good luck
