I tried so hard to earn my Pizza dinner tonight - extra workout day today - 3 miles on bike, 1 hour of aerobics, then 1/2 hour of pilates...but I'm still over calories (and I just got veggie Pizza, not the fatty meats). Oh well, tomorrow will be better.

That's not a fail - it sounds like a success to me! You watched what you were doing and made the effort! Don't beat yourself up over it. Your attitude about tomorrow is great, though. You are on the right track!!!!

Oh, and look what you've accomplished so far! I was giving you the newbie speech - I should have been asking you for advice!!!! Enjoy your pizza!!
  • I swear pizza gave me over 1kg OVER NIGHT >< too many pieces with Garlic bread. thank goodness it all came off the next week. hahaha.
  • you have to let yourself have those treats every once in a while. or else you will have a real epic fail.
  • FAIL!!! I don't think so, you earned that pizza, enjoy.

  • Check out california pizza kitchen's thin crust pizza's in the frozen aisle.. They are really good and low in calories. Pizza's one of those things I couldn't just stop eating so I just make better choices with the types I eat :) Sounds like you're doing a great job already though!

Naw! Like others have said, you earned it - if not in calories burned/consumed, in spirit and strength of will. You did your best. You've lost quite a bit already, almost to your goal it looks like - I'm betting there was a time when the much more likely FAIL was that you ate that pizza AND had the fatty meats AND didn't even try to burn it off.

I think that's a win. Maybe not an epic win but.... NAAAAH, it's epic, for sure! :D

It was thin crust - we've made that change as a family, as we all (well, all but the tall skinny son who eats whatever he wants - I don't think he's really mine...) have had weight issues. I can't remember the last time we had real thick crust pizza....MMM...Pepperoni...

lol yah i know i have one of those brother who at fast food for every meal and had a six pack.. lol
  • If you eat Papa Murphy's pizza order a Delite Cheese pizza or a hawiian as they are the lowest in calories. The cheese is only 140 a slice and the hawiian is 160 a slice. Hope this helps.

Well your new lifestyle has taught you that in order to splurge a little on "bad food" foods you have to balance it out with exercise!
It's all about balance! You're doing great.

  • samisbakery.com great low carb pizza crust 60 some calories a slice plus fiber! You build your own. pesto or tomatoe base, lots of veggies, canadian bacon, touch of cheese. YUMMY! They also have a millet/flax that tastes great. 137 a slice plus whatever you put on it.
