Healthy outdoor foods ?

Hello !
I just turned 19 not long ago and had this new resolution to lose weight !
So i joined this site today and reported my exercise and food intake for today, and i was fascinated by how much calories I get with my everyday meals (pizzas, burgers, fries and sodas).
No wonder I gained lots of weight
I'm a student and I can't cook at all (and have no one to cook for me since i'm studying abroad). :frown:
My goal is to have the lowest calories intake eating outdoor and satisfy my stomach
I already know that sushi is healthy and good but i can't eat that everyday + its expensive... :grumble:
Suggestions ?

By eating outdoors do you mean at restaurants? Soups (non-creamy, broth based) and salads (go light on the dressings, lots of veggies, less high calorie items like cheese) are low on the calories, help you get some good nutrients, and aren't too spendy.
Do you have fridge access? Can you buy groceries to at least make your salads and have fruits and veggies on hand?0 -
Yep i meant restaurants!
So yea I have a fridge but I don't I think i can live off salad and soup.
I failed to mention it on my previous post but i'm a guy.
I was hoping to find something more "filling" but still good to lose weight.
Thanks for the reply tho0 -
Skip the fried foods. Go for grilled chicken instead of fried, breaded stuff and whole grains like rice in stead of bread all the time. Honestly, a loaded baked potato with veggies is likely to be better for you than another serving of pizza. Grilled fish is often easy to find as well. Make sure half your plate is veggies. That's an easy way to check what you're eating.
But seriously, learn to cook. Even if you have one pot, one pan, a hot plate and a fridge, you can make a meal. Trust me I know. I did it in college. Heck all I had for a while was a thrift store rice cooker, and I made cheap, healthy meals in that for me and my roommate. You can do this!0
