No boxed mac n cheese....just NO.
Homemade from scratch is the way to go.0 -
Velveeta.
My mom always made mac & cheese with velveeta and it was the best darn mac & cheese in the world. Or maybe that was because my mom was the one who made it .. dunno but I second your statement.0 -
Amy's frozen mac'n cheese is the best thing ever IMO.
I suck at making homemade mac'n cheese though... and I've never tried velveeta... too scared of that horrible aftertaste that most cheese products have.0 -
Its basically industrial cheesepastafood.
That said...still the best boxed/instant mac and cheese.
The real deal though...make your own. Real homemade mac and cheese can is amazing.0 -
Amy's Kitchen rice mac & cheese is delicious. The portion size is too freakin' small in my opinion but it's 400 calories, so I guess it's better that it isn't bigger, although I could easily eat double the portion, and then some.0

Homemade mac & cheese all the way :drinker:0

I tried Kraft Mac & Cheese last year for the first time (I'm from Europe) and... ugh. I thought it was gross, and I tried it with an open mind!
I do love homemade mac & cheese though. Nom.0 -
Kraft Mac & Cheese out of the box for me everyday of the week and twice on sunday.. well not anymore, i havent had it since i started MFP, but when i did, i'd eat a whole box of the family size, and add a slice or 2 of cheese for extra cheesiness. i grew up on the stuff and love it.
Velveeta sucks, homemade sucks, if you think otherwise, you.. well you get the picture0 -
the KD Spirals is AWESOME but a no no0

Her channel makes me gain 5lbs just from watching. This recipe looks good.
Awful for fitting into your macros, but good.0 -
I make the best baked mac and cheese. The secret is using a variety of cheeses and 2% or whole milk. Sometimes I add bacon to it.
I do on occasion like the blue box but this last time I made some it was tasteless. Like it didn't have any flavor.0 -
I will surely be judged brutally for this, but I prefer the cheapest generic boxed mac and cheese I can find. There is something so unnaturally yummy about whatever that toxic stuff they liberally call "cheese" actually is.0

Velveeta shells and cheese.0

Love all mac and cheeses, my homemade the best...but too many carbs and too much salt for me these days.0

you mean kraft dinner
Still disgusting though.
Homemade macaroni and feta is the shizz.0 -
I made this over the weekend. It is SOO GOOD. Full of calories. Always ways to make a 'skinnier' version like lower fat milk cheeses, and less butter.

if i'm lazy i prefer velveeta shells and cheese and i'll mix doritos and salsa in there, i haven't had that in years (for obvious reasons) but as a lazy mac and cheese goes that was the best0
