bummer...Thought it was recipe for caramel corn. I can give you a decent but not low cal toffee recipe if you want it. It goes great over popcorn.
2 cups of butter (if you use the salted butter, you don't need to add salt.
    2 cups of sugar
dump sugar into pan with the butter cut up in smaller pieces and stir until its completely melted and stirred in. Never stop stirring!!
Keep cooking the mixture until it turns brown like toffee and is brittle when dropped into ice water.
Carefully dump the toffee over popcorn (pop it before you make the toffee.) and CAREFULLY stir until the popcorn is coated.
    Allow to cool and enjoy.

I have that site bookmarked and its my go to place for anything new that I want to try. However, I HIGHLY recommend that you read the comments on it from all the guinea pi...err..people who have tried the recipe already. They will usually say if it worked, if it didn't and what they did to make sure it came out right.
That is where I got my toffee recipe and I only cooked it for the time indicated, and it came out weird looking and was this pale funky gooey glob. The comments from others indicated that you just needed to cook it till it turned a toffee color and my second batch (and all the rest) came out great!

If you look on the Old Dutch Popcorn Twists Bag there is the most delicious recipe for caramel popcorn twists - DISCLAIMER!! They are quite addictive and very, very not good for you!!!lol

    Caramel Popcorn Twists

    Ingredients:

    1/2 lb butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup corn syrup
    1 tsp vanilla
    I tsp baking soda
    1- 175 g bag of popcorn twists.

    Directions:

Pour popcorn twists into a large roaster pan and set aside. (Like a turkey roaster)
In a large saucepan, bring to boil the butter, sugar and syrup. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add baking soda, this will foam up and the mixture will thicken. Allow the foam to cook down slightly and remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and stir.
Pour caramel mixture over popcorn twists and stir until well mixed.
Bake in 225º oven for 50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour on a large pan to cool.
When cool break apart and store in a covered container.
