How do you log marinade? I have quite a few homemade marinades I use, but I've never logged them. Do I put them in recipe and estimate servings?

    How do you do it?

    Thanks.

Yes, you can put all the ingredients in the recipe, then figure out serving sizes by that. at least thats what i've done for some homemade things, its a little time consuming depending on amount of ingredients but if you use it a lot its worth it.

Does anyone know how much vitamin C is too much by the way? I usually average 150%+ on a daily basis.

You can easily take 2g/day of vitamin C (25x the recommended amount) and not have side effects. Don't worry about it.

As to the question, I log marinades and lemon juice if I'm inputting a recipe, but I don't sweat the rest. I usually just eat a bit under my calories for the day, just in case.

I don't log the drink packets. Usually I am so far under my calorie defecit that even if I had 10 it wouldn't make a different. Garlic poweder and some spices I log. Things that I know have carbs or salt I try to log so my numbers are accurate.

I would Google the amount of vitamin C you should be getting or how much is too much. I found this: For adults, the recommended dietary reference intake for vitamin C is 65 to 90 milligrams (mg) a day, and the upper limit is 2,000 mg a day. Although too much dietary vitamin C is unlikely to be harmful, mega-doses of vitamin C supplements may cause: Diarrhea. Nausea. This was from the Mayo Clinic.

I log everything even if there are zero calories. I've been known to even log ice cubes, lol! Silly, I know, but I like having everything I've put in my mouth on paper (or computer in this case).

Well I don't chew gum or use flavoured water packets - but no, I don't log spices or 1 dash of ketchup or my iron tablets. I would log marinade.

I really don't think the reason the scale isn't moving for anyone is the minuscule amount of calories in these things - unless they are consuming them in abnormally huge doses.
