Advice - pictures

Hi Guys,

after years of carrying around this gut - i want to get rid of it!

I have been through patches of consistent healthy eating and exercise, played loads of sports, ran half marathons etc.

Just getting back into a routine which i want to get rid of this gut!

I was upto near 100kg years back, have steadily been at 85-90kg for 4 years or so - as you can see i carry fat nowhere else, i have very lean legs and arms, and dont have much of a butt where i keep weight.

Looking for any advice in how i can get rid of this as after so many years it seems unacheivable and perhaps just my body shape??

thankyou,

You're certainly not carrying excess weight - standby for lots of advice about lifting weights and building muscle

The last thing for nearly all men to lose is the area just below the bellybutton and the lower back. It's totally normal. The good news is that's pretty much all you have left. The bad news, this is stubborn. Your body wants a small reserve of fat.

Start a strength routine and add in some cardio 3-4 days a week. Most of all eat well as in stay within your calorie goals. If you're serious about it you can get rid of most of that this summer. It depends on how badly you want it.

Start lifting, it's the only way to completely transform your shape.

    PS... you look great.
I credit how well my mid section is doing to lifting progressively heavier as I dropped weight.
