Quest bars?

Anybody eat quest bars out there? A friend of mine recommended, and I have tried two over the past two days and been very happy-- it has a ton of protein and fiber and basically no carbs or sugar. I was very satiated and full for hours. Was wondering what the best flavors are because I want to buy some more, but they're kind of expensive so I want to make sure they don't suck. Thanks!!

If you use the search function in this forum you will come across quite a few threads that answer your question. I love Questbars, but frankly some Greek yoghurt does the same. Add some blueberries and you have the same amount of protein and fibre.

But yes, they're delicious.0 -
I love Quest bars! My favorites are white chocolate raspberry and chocolate chip cookie dough.0

I really like the chocolate peanut butter ones. But I have artificial sweeteners, which they have. And the price is super high.0

I bought 6 of them, I tried the apple pie, cinnamon roll, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate peanut butter and I can't remember the other flavour. I hated them all. I would rather greek yogurt any day of the week but that is just me.0

My favorite too! I can eat boxes at a time!0 -
They are a slippery slope for me. I can only buy a couple at a time. If I bought a box, they would be gone in 3 days. Love coconut cashew, apple pie, cinnamon roll, cookie dough and cookies n' cream.0

Well you tried the crappiest ones! Cookie dough, cookies & cream, and white chocolate raspberry are killer!0 -
I totally love the apple pie, cookies and cream and the chocolate chip but all tastes are different of course! As for the cost, at least you aren't paying for additives and preservatives that would cost you more in medical bills later. I totally think they are worth every penny, I eat them every day and so do my kids!0

i am obsessed with them! i love the peanut butter and jelly, chocolate chip cookie dough, cookies and cream, actually i like most of them haha but yeah, you might get the same amount of protein from other stuff but they are so versatile and easy to carry around, and sometimes you just want something other than regular food you eat every day. i think they are great, bake them and they are ten times better!0

I'm in the process of trying them out myself. My favourite sofar is Chocolate brownie. I usually eat half a bar at a time and use them to boost my protein levels on days that I'm just not going to eat much meat. Love to hear everyone's views on Quest bars.0

I love the Strawberry Cheesecake and Double Chocolate Chunk. I buy them by the case (12 bars) and keep them and work and home. They are great when I need a quick snack with extra protein. They are cheaper by the case and some sites have free shipping.0

Quest bars are also 10 times better if you microwave them for 15-20 seconds. Yum!0
-
cinnamon roll is my favorite! you can go on their website and get a variety pack for cheaper then what they usually are at a store and then whatever one you like most you can continue to buy0

I love quest bars!! They have really helped me with a sweet tooth in the past. Cookie Dough is the best flavour by far! I am in Australia and can't get them very cheap here so I order them online from iHerb and that is the cheapest and fastest postage I have found. My discount code is VUC362 if you need $10 off your order. Otherwise sometimes you can pick them up on eBay for a decent price!0

They are SO delicious. But they are expensive. I am addicted and this addiction is hurting my bank account.0

I adore them! If you haven't tried it, chocolate Brownie is amazing.0

double chocolate chunk is my favorite, but I also like chocolate chip cookie dough, and the cookies n cream. Be sure to microwave them for 10-15 seconds, if you haven't already0

I bought a variety box on their site which had 13 different flavors. Far I've tried the cookies n' cream, cinnamon roll, chocolate peanut butter and choco chip cookie dough. The first 2 I ate right from the package and they were ok but seemed liked they needed to be cooked.
the last 2 I looked online for a simple recipe that included baking them. I found this:
Cut a bar into 6 even pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Smoosh down slightly and put in oven @ 350 for 6 mins.
Turn cookies over and press down (if you want them a little flatter) and bake for another 2 mins. Take them out and let them cool a bit (they are better after they cool for a bit IMO). You get 6 cookies with none of the guilt and plenty of fiber and protein! Have them with a glass of milk it's even better!
Now, they are still not the best 'cookies' in the world but considering the nutritional value they are pretty good. I will have to try microwaving one as well as people have mentioned.0 -
We have these at my work, & my current favorite is cookies & cream. Cookie dough used to be one of my fav. I really like the Raspberry White Chocolate (& I don't normally like white chocolate) and strawberry cheesecake. I have a box of Cookies & cream in my locker0

I've never tried them before, but heard so many great reveiws I just had to order some to try.
They didnt have much choice because they were on special offer, Ive ordered cinnamon roll and apple pie (I really wanted to try cookie dough), I cant wait for them to arrive.0 -
Eat one almost daily.
My favorite thing to do...
1. Get the chocolate chip one
2. Warm it for 10-13 seconds in microwave
3. Cut it in half, and flatten it with a cup or rolling pin
4. On a greased baking sheet, bake the two halves or however many pieces you want at 350 for 7 minutes = QUEST BAR COOKIES!0 -
Love them! Cookies and Cream are AWESOME!!!! My second favorite is Cookie Dough.0

yummy going to try this.0 -
My local GNC was nearly out last week and I just stopped in Vitamin shop and their supply was low as well. I asked if they would be getting more and they told me that Quest is being sued because the fiber count is inaccurate. Interesting news. I was told they may not being getting any more in until it is settled!
That said, that was good news for me because they are dangerous for my sweet tooth. I rarely allow myself more than half of a bar at a time- and only post workout or as an emergency snack. I try not to eat a lot of processed foods, and I really feel like I am cheating when I eat them.0
