new to fitnesspal

Hi,

Just got to say that I am new to the fitness pal community. Its great that people can chat and help each other out, either with recipes or encouragement.
This site is so easy to use and I am finding myself eating a lot more food and less calories. I think this is going to help me a lot to lose the punds I need to.

A question if any one can answer. When you add extra calories for exercise, does anyone eat them?, because they add to my daily allowance and im not.

    Hello and welcome, ive been on and off here since last year. Im very nearly at my goal.it has been a huge help.
    If my calorie goal is set at 1200 then i eat back half my calories. If its higher like it is now then i dont eat them back. Hope that makes sence X

    Hi Thanks.

    So my calories are set at 1200, in gaining a extra 400, and only eating around 800-900 and then it says im not eating enough.
    So if I eat the full 1200 and leave out the extra 400 I gained do you think that I will still lose weight?

    Sorry, hope it doesnt sound to stupid.
