Liquid egg whites UK

Hi. I'm discovering lots of new recipes for egg whites (egg white and oatmeal pancakes yum yum!), but feel wasteful throwing away the yolks all the time. Not to mention it takes time to separate them.

Has anyone found some good liquid egg whites in the uk?

The two chicks one has some thickener added, so not so keen in that.

Has anyone tried the egg nation one?

Or how about the egg white powders they sell in myprotein.com etc?

Thanks

    Are you allergic to yolks?

No but if I have more than 2 at once then it tends to make me nauseous

I use the Two Chicks egg whites, as they are the only brand I've found in supermarkets. I love them, and add them in omelettes, and baking protein cookies and muffins - they are amazing!

Ok thank you, will give them a try. I'm guessing they don't taste strange due to the thickener used, no?

No to be honest I didn't even know there was any thickener in them. Definitely doesn't affect the taste - I think the consistency is really good, as they make awesome omelettes and pancakes! :)

You can get cartons of liquid egg whites from muscle food UK. I was thinking of getting some from there as it says there are no thickeners or anything like that added.

Yeah I saw those too. But apparently they only keep for 3 days
Once opened. That's a lot of egg whites in 3 days lol
