    Just what I needed to see !!! I started my weight-loss journey June 2012 because of health reasons (kidney and high blood pressure). I was at your SW as well (282). I am now at about 205 so almost 80 lost (slow and steady). My goal is about 165 (I'm female, 5'7", big-boned, I think lol). Thanks for sharing your inspiring story. It can be done !!! Woooohooooo!!!

    Congratulations on what you've accomplished! Great job and good story! I really like your philosophy of focusing on what you've achieved even if you didn't get the outcome you expected at times during your journey. Like you've said, I've also been trying to log my food before I eat it so I can decide if I want to eat those calories or save them for something else.
