whats going on

ive been following slimmingworld for tha past year and it has worked wonderfully - 6st lost and at target. l have been trying to balance my eating and eat more wholefoods and clean eating to make it sustainable for my health in long term. So the past week i have been trying to count the calories rather than go by what SW says. I run 3-5 times a week at least 3-4 miles each time and have couple of long runs too. I am otherwise active and happy too.
So i thought ive been doing really well considering the exercise and the fact i have not been feeling bloated all week. I have not weighed myself either which i thought is a bonus as i dont want to get stuck on saturday morning lets say with scales being unkind and then ruining the rest of the week as im upset and stressed. So this morning i weighed myself to see where im at (i weigh in every wednesday) and ive put on 3 lbs!! again!! (last week 2.5) what on earth is going on!!! so im 1/2 stone off my target (took me 5months to loose the last half a stone) and feeling gutted, upset and sad.
it is not the time of the month either that i could blame!
COuld anyone be so kind and have a look at my diary to see if there is an obvious mistake ive made. As i log my days, it always promises me nice losses in 5 weeks time! And so far nothing!

    what are your stats? do you use a HRM for your calorie burn?
  • i use garmin forerunner 10 for my stats when running and endomondo app. so for example last night i went out for a 5.5 mile fairly intense run which i completed in 47min and average speed was 8.43 min/mile - used up calories 643.

  • i see, i am about 5ft 8inches and weigh currently on or about 160 lbs. (11st5 weighed this morning) i started my weightloss journey from 18st just after having my second baby. joined slimmingworld at 16st13,5lbs and ideally would like to be down to 10st 8-10st10 as i think it would benefit my running to be slightly less heavy.
  • Noone here with any input? Really struggling getting on track.
  • It could be calorie creep (i.e., underestimating calories) or maybe just a body recomp from all the running. You might want to start tracking other things like waist/arm/hip/thigh measurements or bodyfat %. How are your clothes fitting? If your diary is accurate then there is simply no way you put on that much weight in fat.
  • thank you, i will aim to be even more accurate this week with the measuring and weighing. my clothes feel the same, tho i do feel (well im wondering if it is more in my head now) chubbier if that makes sense. i just need to - for my own sanity and my husbands as i am chewing his ear off with all this diet-excersise malarkey. i just want to eat properly, train and either at least maintain or loose - not gain weight! ive used up all possible calorie calculators that all say different amounts which i should/should not be eating! cant bear the idea of eating lettuce all day long!
