    my guy (mhernandez1976) found me on the message boards here 11 months ago and sent me a friend request. The rest is history. We spent 11 months 2000 miles apart (California & Illinois) and now in 9 days he is moving to California and we are engaged. So yes, MFP love stories are real =)

    in my case it was by chance we met. Neither was looking. But I do think its an amazing way to meet someone, to share that same drive to want to lose weight and better your life.

    Why not move closer to each other, or in with each other, or marry, or something so you can see each other every 4-6 hours instead?

    Wow thats impressive , congrats , 2000 MILES and still a success! I like this ... I believe if its meant to be distance is just a number , But it has to be real! :).

    Seriously though . . . we both have children with our ex spouses. The ex spouses are very much involved in the lives of the children. Moving, at this time, is not an option for either of us.

    Love can happen anywhere. There are a few good stories on here, so you never know. I have been on here for just over a year now. I certainly didn't come into it with the idea of meeting someone, but if it happens, it happens. My focus is fitness, and if I meet someone I who I mesh with of a like mind, then why not explore it if it's an option for us both? I don't think any of the people who have relationships that have commented came here in the hopes to find love, but it's pretty fantastic that they did!

    That being said, I met the my love on MFP :) And we happen to be in the same town. Completely unexpected, just like if you met your SO at the gas station.


    Only he likes this *kitten* show called Adventure Time. It might be the death of us....

    I'm totally going to hang out on MFP at a gas station, you know, to increase my chances of meeting Prince Charming!!

    thousands thousand of miles between us... but trust me... it worth every minute.. second...and nites waiting for our skype date! or a phone call! and agggg its not going to be easy at all!

    and if it doesn't work at the end.... still will worth the effort! I will not regret for even a second!

    so yes... hopefully for us there will be another MFP love story!

    Like anything else, you put a bunch of people together with a common interest, mix in hormones and internet anonymity and you're going to have a certain reaction.

    And, like any other relationships, I've been privy to MFP romances that have crashed and burned and some that are going strong.
