    I LOVE stuff like this:love:

we had blue bikes back in the 80s. Turned out to be an artist and friends who thought it would be cool to see if if would make it into the news. They did............and are still strategically placed throughout our fair city.

For a while, painted shoes and boots sprung up. Cool superfly 70s shoes............wonder where they got them? The back of my closet maybe????

There used to be a homeless guy by Wall Street who had a sign that read "Ninja's stole my family, need money for Karate lessons" that was the first and only time I gave a guy a dollar!

My first and only time giving $$ to panhandler was the guy in the Boba Fett Helmet playing the accordian outside the NYU library at Washington Square. *Worth It*

I gave a dollar to a guy only once. He was standing on the corner across from the bus stop. He had one leg in a cast up to his mid thigh, he had one crutch and was dressed only in a open backed gown (nothing else). He said to me I need a quarter so I can take the bus back to the hospital.

    I gave him a dollar.

My favorite thing is it is chained to the pole as if someone would WANT to steal it!
  • I've seen past reports of knit/crochet "grafitti" so it seems you have a talented artist in your area ;) Google "knit graffiti" and look at some of the images it pulls up! :)

Yeah, my first thought was that they actually felt the need to chain it.

And take off the seat... but it is NYC. An unlocked bike is no longer your bike!
