Couch to 5k buddies?

Hi All - I'm starting the Couch 2 5K program tomorrow. Just downloaded the app today and found out there is a way to add buddies for motivation. Is anyone else interested in doing this with me?

    Sure, I'm in. I haven't ran properly in 6+ months so this will be a good way to ease back into it.

    Which app was it? The 9 week or 8 week version?

    I started this morning- day 1.
    Was wondering how people are finding it. I am 200+lbs at the moment and have never been a runner. I completed it though.
    Any tips on how to keep going?

    Get music you can get lost into. It helps tremendously I focus on breathing and my foot form - heal to toe, repeat - I don't count seconds. I don't watch the clock. And if I can, I add 5-15 seconds on to the end. So it's easier next time a little.

    That sounds great! I'm planning on starting after I move to Montana because it's too hot here in AZ haha! So that will be like a week and a half and then I'm all in :)

    I just downloaded the app and am starting today. I have never been a runner and have heel issues, but I am giving it a go! I am a Football official who needs to get back into 'game shape' by the start of the season. As a motivator, I am signing up for a Glow in the Park in mid-August. If I can be ready for that, I can be ready for the season ahead.

    Wish me luck! Any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated.
