I've been doing some research on the Fitbit, and I was wondering what everyone's opinions are how have them? And which product is the best?

I have had a fitbit zip and a fitbit one.
Fitbit zip
1. Too easy to get lost
2. Hard to read
3. Does not take into account elevation changes
4. Battery is hard to find sometimes.
5. Battery can shift and it will lose power
Fitbit one
1. Rechargeable, but holds a charge easily for a week
2. Easier to read - bright LEDs
3. Takes into account elevation changes
4. No battery - PLUS for me!
Software is good and the synch USB Key works great.
I like how it integrates with MFP0 -
 Awww Thank you so much!, I'm super anxious and now I have a much better view of which one I want.0

I've had a Fitbit Zip for about a month. It was was a birthday gift. I haven't tried the others. I wear it clipped it to my bra and I haven't lost it yet. haha
I didn't think I would use it at first, but I started wearing it anyway and downloaded the app. I like that it tells me about how much I've moved my butt and how many calories I've burned throughout a day. It's nice because if I see my numbers are low, it inspires me to move more. It also syncs with MFP and adjusts my calories and nutrients. In other words, if I've been very active it will give me higher numbers, and if I've been pretty sedentary it lowers the numbers.
I can't think of any negatives really. Not yet, at least. I dig it and I would get another (maybe a different model, I don't know) if something happened to this one.
The Zip does not track sleep and I guess the others do. That might matter to you as well.0 -
I have the fit bit one and I really like it. I clip it onto my bra and go. It gives a lot of data and more importantly, it motivates me. I also like how I can read it without having to sync it and that I don't have to wear it on my wrist.0

I had the fitbit one and I loved it.
Pros:
1) Stays charged for about a week
2) Takes only about 2 hours to charge
3) Tracks sleep, how many stairs you have taken, steps, activity level (in the form of a cute little flower), and approx calories burned for the entire day.
4) Kind of water-resistant....
5) It is awesome
Cons:
1) Must remember to take it out of pocket at the end of the day because it is so small. I put mine in the wash multiple times.
2) The clip is relatively flimsy and can break easily
3) Not ideal for non-cardio exercises. I ended up giving my mom mine because weight lifting is my primary exercise, which was impossible to accurately track with the fitbit one. My mom walks so she loves it.
4) Expensive.
All in all, fitbit is a great tool to help motivate you in losing weight and getting healthier. :happy:0 -
I have had my FitBit Zip for about a year now. I bought that instead of the One because I really wasn't concerned about tracking stairs or sleep. Here is what I like about it:
-Being able to look at the phone app instead of the actual device to get my information.
-It connects to MFP and takes the guesswork out for me.
-Excellent customer service. I know several of my FitBit friends have either lost or washed their FitBit and had it replaced for free.
-I think that the little badges and being able to add friends is motivating.0 -
I got my Fitbit One yesterday and started using it today. It's good so far.. very easy to use.. and I counted steps for a few minutes and it's very accurate. It says you can clip it to your bra.. don't.. mine came off and it's so light, I didn't notice. Luckily it fell off in the car and I didn't completely lose it. Lol0

I just got my fitbit flex a few days ago. I wear it on my wrist all the time, including when I'm sleeping. It tracks my steps and my sleep. It motivates me to move more, which is what I am really looking for.0

I've had a fitbit one for a few weeks now, and I love it. I clip it to my bra and no one knows it's there. It does encourage me to move my butt when I see it's a little low, and I LOVE its integration to MFP0
