Is MFP giving me too few calories?

Hello!!
I recently lost 20 pounds of my 40 (whoo hoo) and MFP just dropped my calories to 1260 from 1370. I am Female, 27 and 5' 3" and am lightly active.

I try to work out at least 3 times a week with about 30 mins of cardio and 20 mins of strength.

I usually don't eat back my calories from working out but with the new lower amounts I am struggling! My question is, should I be eating back my calories or should I manually adjust it to give me back my 1370?

Also I should mention I have been on the newer lower calorie level for about a week and have consistently gone over by at least 100 or 200 calories and am still losing weight at the same pace as before...

You should set your calories based on how many days and how intensely you are training each week. If you go from training 3 days per week to 5 days per week, then you should adjust. But if you are maintaining the same exercise routine, it is necessary to simply decrease calories once your weight loss plateaus.

According to myfitnesspal I should be eating like 3000 only.

    I'm eating 5000.

MFP didn't necessarily give you too few calories you're just not following what they told you. 1260 PLUS exercise calories. Or go to settings and put it back where it was if that was working for you.

I have my goal set at 2500, eat back my Fitbit extras, and eat more if I am hungry and still lose most weeks. Up and down 1/2 a kilo which is normal for women, but losing overall. I think I am net around 2700 to 3000 plus most days. I am going to have to check my history and figure out what I am going to need to do to bulk.

It's all about averages and no one is exactly average.
