Lost weight calories adjusted higher.

Has anyone had this happen I recorded my new weight loss and it raised my calories by about 60 or so? It is my first week back and I did lose a big number could it have been because it thinks im losing to much in a weeks spand? Thanks for any help.

that is odd, lowered weight should mean less calories
did you have a custom goal set beforehand?

Because the less weight you have to lose, the less aggressive of a deficit you want. That's the way I went about my weight loss. As I closed in on goal, I aimed to be closer and closer to my maintenance calories.

Maybe I didnt set up the goals right or something. It just asked if I wanted to adjust them with my new weight.

Because you want to lose slower with less weight to lose. If you can lose with more calories, why choose less calories?

That's odd--could you have also modified your goals or activity level. I think it just plugs in its formula, so wouldn't be responsive to the rate of weight loss or anything like that.

I agree. Double check your goal and your activity level. If they are the same as they were before, your calorie goal should have gone down when you recalculated. If they are adjusted for less weekly weight loss or more activity than before, then they would have gone up.
