    I'm told here in Virginia that we're "south" but I really think that depends on your perspective.

    I see several folks talking about what makes you a southerner. To me it’s pretty basic; if you’re below the Mason-Dixon Line you’re a Southerner. Now just because you’re not below the MD line doesn’t mean you ain’t country, because country is country wide.

    My family's from Michigan, but I was raised right here in North Carolina. I don't think I'll be 'southern' forever. I've been seriously considering heading north. But I do love the south regardless.
