I'm 5'8" - 39 years old
SW 157 - It was buy new pants or lose the weight.
CW 143 - Started weight loss early March 2014 and essentially happy. The main aim is to maintain this, which I struggle with.
GW 134 - maybe ??
I'm really just curious about anything less than my CW, usually at this stage I revert back to my old eating habits. Would like to stick with MFP and see where it takes me.0 -

Thanks! I lost the first 50 or so quickly over about 4 months (weight loss study), and then another 40 over the following 8 months. The rest has come off pretty slowly, over the last year.0

5'9" here! Starting weight was 235 in August 2012. I've lost 55 pounds and currently sitting at 180. I went off my Paleo/Primal eating habits last fall at 192 lbs when I was diagnosed with cancer, and basically ate anything I could keep down. I initially lost down to 162lbs from being sick, but gained back to 180 when I could resume eating. I've maintained that weight for two months. I am not resuming the Paleo/Primal lifestyle so am tracking again. It feels good to be back.
By the numbers:
Start Aug '12: 235
Fall '13: 192
Sick: 162
May '14 Less sick: 180
Goal: none really - 150/155?

I have been working out hard for 6 weeks (4-5 x a week with weights & cardio) and keeping calories around 1600-1700. Not seeing any results. Would love some tips, motivation, and friends!! I have been on MFP for awhile and have gained weight since getting a personal trainer a month ago and getting serious about my workouts. This is the most I've every weighted and I'm trying to ignore the scale but would like to see some progress :-)0 -

I am a size 12 US. I lost 30 lbs couple years ago when i was training for the half marathon. I managed to put 20 back on so now i am focused to get it off and stay off. I would like to get to 140 but at 46 yrs old I dont want to look old in the face with wrinkles. Right now i have none and people think i am younger than 46.0 -
I'm really glad I found this topic, I was feeling sort of bad for being the weight I am but it's nice to know that there are women my height and at a similar weight!
My starting weight is 220, and my goal weight is 1650 -

It's amazing how we're all around the same height, but our weights and goals are so different. It's amazing how we can be the same weight but different body fats.. it puts in into perspective how everyone's journey is completely different.

My story - Started my journey at age 15 (26 now) and over the years I have learned the ropes of weight loss AND weight gain. Definitely is something to maintain for life but I didn't realize that when I was younger. Never have returned my highest weight (probably 255-260?) though - I follow IIFYM and do my best to hit my macro goals (although protein is always a tough one for me)!!

CW: 250lbs (size 16/18 depending on the fit)
GW: I'd like to see 170 however I lift heavy so due to a lot of muscle I don't know if I'll hit 170 . . . if I hit onederland I will be estatic! Also, I'd love to be able to complete a 5K . . .
UGW: I don't have an ultimate goal weight but I'd like to hit 20 - 25% BF and wear a size 10/12 . . . I've never worn that size in my adult life . . . the smallest being a 14/16.
I follow a heavy lifting routine and a cardio routine and eat quite well. I have trouble with getting all of my protein sometimes, but do my best to get it in. I also do spin classes 2 - 3 times/week

The biggest thing I can say is to be patient! I know it might seem like the weight just appeared overnight but realistically it didn't right? Stay consistent - don't go one week of eating everything in sight and not going to the gym and then the next week netting 900 calories and doing 3 hrs of cardio a day. I was also really athletic in my teenage years, so I feel like many athletes know this but sometimes I forget about it, too. Just be consistent and celebrate NSVs as much as those weigh ins0
