I am wanting to get the ea for the PS3 but I want some opinions first. I have the EA more workouts for the Wii and got bored with it. The same thing over and over. My son has the Wii Football training camp and it has the HR monitor and leg band with it. Wondering if the bands will work with the PS3 if I can find only the game for the PS3? I was wondering how well you like it and if it's worth the money?

I have it for wii and i like it, but i like the original one as well; didnt get the more workouts version. im doing a 9 week challenge right now and there seems to be enough variety. there is a thread for that so you can maybe find more people in there who might have ps3 and can give more reviews.
i dont have it on ps3 but i would imagine the training camp ones are the same and would work ... i think its the same technology just different workouts. btw how is the training camp one?0 -
I havent tried the football training camp but I have watched my son do it and it looks really hard...good workout another words! His HR got up to 180!!..and he is 8!!!! Im thinking about trying the training camp for something different! I have to keep switching things up because I get bored with the same ole routine day after day!
TY for all the info! I really appreciate it! I still dont know what Im gonna do.0 -
OK so I tried the football challenge game and since it wouldnt schedule me for a workout today I did one of the preset ones on medium...well let me tell ya....its like circuit training and a hard workout..in 36 minutes i burned 250 calories!0

I am doing it for PS3 right now. I would recommend it. You get a great workout and it starts gradually, at your pace. There are two different trainers. I've done training with the guy and he was fun. He had you do a lot of running, playing soccer, playing basketball. You won't be bored with him :-)
One more thing, I love the heart rate monitor! I've never used one before and it really does help motivate me to keep going. I got my set for around 50-60 bucks at Game Stop. It is well worth the money.0 -
Totally agree... EA SA is worth buying the PS3 for alone0
