I am interested in meeting people in their 40's who need to lose 60 lbs or more! I am almost finished with a masters degree and a little bit of encouragement for getting back on the fitness and weight loss would be much appreciated. I will cheer you on as well! Happy Friday

You might want to open up to people that have already lost weight in their 40's as well. They might just be able to help you with a problem you have either now or in future since they already had traveled the journey.
Good luck...0 -
I will be 43 next Tuesday. I lost 13 lbs in six months. I did this by eating everything in moderation and exercising.
Add me if you would like, I will be more than happy to give you some encouragement along the way.0 -
I'm 44 and not quite 60 to lose but happy to support . Send me a request .0

I've found that the weight loss is slower than when I was in my 20s, but then again I refuse to starve this time. Doing it right and for the long haul now. Sadly, as you get older your calorie needs are lower, so if I ever get to be a skinny 60 year old, I won't be able to eat more than about 1000 calories to maintain! On that happy note... best of luck to you! :flowerforyou:0

Hi,
I am 44 and would like to lose 83 lbs. I started last Tuesday and I would like to join you in this effort.0 -
I just turned 44.....I started at the beginning of 2012 when I was coming up to 43....I started at 172lb and got down to 118lb at my lowest.....I started lifting and I've put some weight back on....I'm at 136 right now and I'm trying to get back to 120lb.....I lost the weight with a combination of exercise every day, at least 30 minutes....and counting every single calorie....measuring and weighing and staying away from everything with empty carbs....no donuts, cakes, pies, candies, chocolate, ice cream....I was really strict with myself.....I knew that I wasn't going to stay away from those things forever, but I needed to do that to lose the weight initially.....now I've allowed myself some treats now and then.... this could be why some of the weight has come back on and also the lifting, I'm sure......but you can do it!!!!.....I lost about 54lb....and managed to keep most of it off, like I said.....feel free to add me, I'm on here every day.....:)0

feel free to add me0 -
Great, we can cheer each other on! I am starting with 60 but could go even more as well. I think I will count by 20lb milestones0

20LB milestones sounds like a great idea, you are off to a good start already:flowerforyou:0 -
Hi,
I just want to feel good like everyone else on here.
Use the scanner on the app and that does the trick for me to resist.
Also go natural all the way.
Ive lost 3st since February 2014, and wanting to lose another 1 1/2st to hopefully feel good within.
Go for it !!!0 -
Thanks! It seems more manageable at 20lbs0
