Oh where do I begin with my weight struggles. Up down up down.. More recently way up. After my son was born (95th percentile height and weight and still at almost 2yrs old, should I blame ice cream and bagel cravings?)
I've barley been motivated to loose all this weight. The first pregnant 20 weeks I lost 3 lbs then bam almost 40lbs up when I gave birth. I'm still 20 ..okay closer to 30 from when I got pregnant. And I was 30 over then!
I would love to keep my children close in age but no way am I getting pregnant in this terrible overweight yucky feeling i have right now.
I need some help/friends/motivators to keep me on track.
Want to plan #2 for September..4 months .. Uh-oh

If one is overweight or obese, they don't have to gain weight during pregnancy. In fact many OBGYN's will probably say it's fine to lose some weight as long as nutritional values are being met and calorie intake is reasonable.
    Discuss it with your OB.

If you maintain your current weight during your pregnancy then you will lose a bunch of weight when the baby is born. You will need to eat enough to feed your growing baby and a little for yourself but you don't necessarily have to gain weight.

Planning for number two is one of my big reasons for wanting to loose weight too.
I was over weight when I conceived number one (now one year old) and had a health pregnancy, despite the fear mongering among many medical professionals. I'd like to loose 20-30 kg (45 - 66lbs) and would like to start trying around the end of the year. I don't think I'll fit all that weight loss into that time frame. But being pregnant is hard work and I'm guessing it'll be harder work with a toddler, so I want to get fit and healthy now and set myself up with some good habits. Ok, a cute little bump would be nice too.
It can be hard with a little one to look after, but we can do it!
Feel free to add me, I log on every day.

You can lose some weight in that length of time but a healthy weight loss program is always preferred. Best wishes on your endeavors and your future pregnancy.
