Mexican restaurant help

So what should I eat folks?!

Alright, so the boyfriend and I have had a hankering for some Mexican food and recently had a good recommendation for a restaurant. I would still love to enjoy myself with out going hog-wild but there are no nutritional facts to help with my judgement.

I don't really know much about Mexican food other than the tacos I make at home and the occasional quesadilla. What would you suggest as generally safer (but still delicious) options?

Thanks

Soup is generally low cals, but I would just order what ever you want and eat half. and enjoy.

You should be able to get a grilled chicken dish with veggies.

I have been getting fajitas no tortillas when I go. Meat and veggies. I also usually eat 1/2 the refried beans too.

I eat a quarter of whatever my husband eats and then I eat a side salAd or soup. So yummy.

If you can have black beans as a side, those are really nutritious. You may be able to get white rice in place of mexican rice.

    Thank you everyone!

So I am thinking about getting the chicken fajitas, and I will check out the portion and probably end up taking some of it home. Oh, and a skinny Marg ;) I have decided that I am going to enjoy myself. We are already planning on a nice long walk earlier in the day, so I am sure I will have a good amount of calories to use up.

P.S. I am so excited! I heard some really great reviews, and the anticipation has been building for the past couple days lol
