Do bikes have weighing scales in them?

Stupid question, I know. But I was doing the random hill workout on the Precor bike today and it said Weight=155 pounds. Another bike said weight=159 pounds. But I weigh 149. What number is this anyway?

I worked out at a lot of gyms from military gyms on base to the YMCAs. I've never had an exercise bike that had a scale on it. Never had I been on ANY cardio machine at any gym where there was a scale embedded in the cardio machine. The recumbent cycles at the YMCA I go to most often is set to 150 pounds so if you weigh more or less than that, you have to manually adjust the number on the monitor. It sounds like this bike is similarly set to 150 pounds as well.0
