could time of day/fluctuations have this much of an impact?

Alright so, I'll use the last week as what's been happening..
-Last sunday, i weigh myself and am at 117.5kg
-5 days later, on friday i weigh myself and am at 116kg
-Today(sunday) i weight myself and am 119kg!
the first sunday and friday were at the morning, and the sunday weight was at night.
Just wondering if it could really be due to the time im weighing myself?
quick bio if it's usefull:
Workout consists of ~35 mins of cardio
I'm aged 18, ~6.3 feet and weigh 117KG, male
My diet is consisting of ~2200 calories, water consumption is ~3litres

Rule number one: Weigh yourself at the same time of day, naked or wearing underwear.
Rule number two: Weight fluctuates all day long from the food and water your are eating & eliminating.
Rule number three: Stop torturing yourself weighing at different times/different conditions.0 -
A lot of it is salt, too. Anything that causes your body to hold onto water can cause huge fluctuations. I've spanned as much as 8 lbs in a day before.0

Yes it could. I'm a scale junky. I "gain" about 5 pounds every day...sometimes more, sometimes less. Then I "lose" it by morning. The more you weigh, the more you can fluxuate. If it bothers you, don't weigh at night. If you find it kind of fascinating, like I do...weigh a couple of times a day and keep a chart. You'll find out what's normal for you.0

short answer is yes, time of day you are weighing yourself does have an impact, that is why it is advised to weigh yourself at the same time of day - generally in the morning after you wake up - in the same circumstances (ie with or without clothes)
during the day there are different factors which will make your weight fluctuate - even still from day to day so not everyday will show a drop and some will show gains - weighing at night, after eating all day will always show a heavier weight, it is normal
There are other things that can affect the scale as well - for example, if I have a day that is a high sodium day, the next day may show a gain as I am retaining water due to the salt intake
So weight loss isn't always linear and you shouldn't sweat the daily fluctuations of a couple of pounds here or there0 -

Hellz yes, your weight can fluctuate 5 pounds or more in the course of one day due to many factors- how much sodium was in your food the day before, when the last time you took a poop, how much you've had to drink, what clothes you're wearing, if you recently exercised, how hot it was that day, and specially for women, what part of our monthly cycle we are in. All these things and more can make your weight higher or lower than the previous day. The only way to get the most accurate data is to follow gypsy's rules -Rule number one: Weigh yourself at the same time of day, naked or wearing underwear.
Rule number two: Weight fluctuates all day long from the food and water your are eating & eliminating.
Rule number three: Stop torturing yourself weighing at different times/different conditions0
