Tough Saturday Ahead

Well got through the week and avoided all temptations and lost 4 pounds by sticking to my dieat (probably all water weight). Happy to say my suit fit very loose on me today as I coached our basketball girls to victory against a tough team.
However, saturday is going to be a tough day for me. I am the head powerlifting coach at my high school and we have our first tournament of the year. I will be very busy, but they have the biggest temptation in the world, a coach's area that is always stocked with foods (of course ones that are unheatlthy). Going to resist temptation through the day hopefully (most likely). The real trick will be not binging when I get home while watching the Jets play. GAHHH!!! I wish it was a normal work day tomorrow.

YOU CAN DO THIS. You can coach and not eat all that nasty food. When I see food that I know I can't eat, I look at it and say FAT and CALORIES!!! You have to stay strong.0

Can you pack good healthy food for yourself? Maybe a cooler with yougurts, nuts etc?

absolutely! you can do it! you could pack yourself some healthy snacks for the day so you're full and not as likely to graze on all the provided food. its so hard to say no to free food! let us know how it goes! good luck.0

I know what you mean about having rough weekends but you can do this! Like suggested above, try packing a few snacks that you really like. It might dissuade you from eating all those other things on the table if you have delicious but healthy alternatives.0

Thank you for all the helpful replies, I survived the weekend. I did pack a 550 calorie lunch and kept a water bottle nearby all day long. I really tested myself when I picked up a pizza for the family and only allowed myself to eat a lean cuisine pizza (340 calorie) and some brocoli.0
