Isn't this crazy?

I just can't quite believe she's done it. It's so drastic, considering the size she's at. And it's for life! Man...

What I found surprising was that, on average, she was 200 lbs before the surgery. I have always thought of it being an option pursued and used by a far more obese individuals.

Well she's not a native English speaker, so maybe her country does it.

Makes me shake my head though.

Yes! I'm heavier than 200lbs and it's never been something I would consider, unless I was like 350 or higher.

They recently lowered the FDA guidelines for the surgery... now even more people can have their torso ripped opened and apply a plastic band to their stomachs which will eventually just expand again anyway.

If someone wants to lose weight so bad that they would do something like this I just feel bad that the same motivation can not drive them to make healthier lifestyle choices.

Even when i was at 460 i never would ever consider this a option, all i needed was diet and exercise. I don't agree with some people who get this done, if you're so overweight to the point you can hardly move yes this would be an option. I find it the easy way out even someone her size I've known women that were twice her size and never go this done and lose a ton of weight.

Seriously crazy, but that's just my personal opinion. No way would I have surgery to fix something that I can do myself with just a bit of will power and perseverance. Sheesh.
