Leaving for Hilton Head SC in another week. I have never been, and wanted to know if there is a must do or see while there. Trust me I plan on doing alot of relaxing on the beach, and yes walking on the beach so I won't be too much of lazy toad.

I was there a couple years ago, and can't remember at all any of the shop names, but there are some wonderful little ones. We went to an incredible candle store, they were globes, all hand crafted.. so hard to explaain. Just bworse the little shops though, a very cool pottery store.. enjoy!! I wish I was more help. I also remember this amazing pasta place, red checkered tablecloths and all.

Definitely enjoy the beaches and shopping but check out local bike companies go to bike riding(when i was there, they seemed to be everywhere) as well as horse-back riding! I did both and it's a lot of fun! I also remember going on a sunset cruise type of thing.

    Great restaurants too!

Just go and get away from it all!! :)

expensive, but a round of golf there is phenominal. they have some of the best golf courses in the country. Dunno if you've ever played, but I'll tell ya what, just walking the courses down there is a wonderful experience.

Oooh, I went in May - check out my profile pictures for the one on the bike. It was so much fun. I want to go back just to ride that bike (yes, I'm an exercise junkie). We had a great time there. Went on a sunset dolphin cruise, that was nice. My sister went para-sailing and had a great time. As far as the other beach toys go, stay away from the big floaty bikes - lots of work and not worth it. The sea kayaks are ok, and good for upper body when you get tired of the bike riding. There's a great waiter named Thomas at Skillets (I think that's the name of the restaurant), so if you go there, ask for him.
