How long are you supposed to wait after eating before you exercise?
I have a quick 300 calories to burn, and I want to get it out of the way before I relax.

I think the "wait a half hour before you swim" rule is applicable. You certainly CAN exercise right away, but it will probably be more uncomfortable than if you wait a bit.0

Thanks. I wasn't sure if there was a difference between "after you swim" and "after you eat."
Thanks so much. ♥0 -
everyone is different. the wait 30 minutes to 1 hour is because once you start exercising your body diverts blood flow from your stomach which it needs for digestion and moves it more to your muscles. you can get stomach cramps or even diarrhea. iron man triathletes and ultra runners have to learn to eat while exercising. different people tolerate it better than others. do what's most comfortable for you.0
