Are calories burbed while sick?

I've had a super bad allergy attack/sinus infection the past three days. I'm feeling better each day but I'm feeling ravenous! I left work early yesterday and other than exercise have been taking it easy. Maybe it's because I'm little bored. Either way I'm really really hungry!

Your body used what was stored for energy and if you didnt each much thats why you're so hungry. Get something healthy to eat and drink lots of water.0

I've got some sinus funk going on right now (on top of AF visiting), so I'm pretty miserable. I'm also pretty miserable when I work out, so I want to say one burns more calories when sick, but not sure if it's true. Sure does feel like it though.0

I really don't count calories much when I am sick. I don't eat junk... but if I am hungry and can eat healthy things then I'll do so. I don't know if your body burns extra calories when you are sick, but I don't think being ravenous helps either when you already feel awful! Maybe try drinking some hot tea? That's not many calories, helps with sinus gunk, and may ease some hunger too.0

Awe man, that sucks.
Have some hot broth and don't deny your body healthy, filling foods. Rest up and feel better soon.0
