I have been a yo - yo dieter for almost 40 yrs and think it is about time I did something about it. One problem I have is my love of my craft work which causes me to sit down a lot, so how can I train my head to not tell me that when I spend time exercising that I am using up valuable knitting time.

try using your exercise time as an incentive to knit.....tell yourself if I exercise for 30 mins. then I can sit and knit and don't knit unless you have done at least 30 mins. after a few weeks you will want to exercise more and more because your body will feel different and you will miss it if you don't. good luck ! I also love to knit so I know what you mean !0
