30 Day Shred question

Is it good to do the exact same workout every single day for 5 days straight? And then do it again the following week? I'm on day 8 level 1 so I'm into the last week at this level (camping trip kind of threw off my schedule) so level 1 will actually be like 11 days before I move on.
I've been wondering if I'm better off to do it every other day and do a different exercise on those days like use my treadmill. It's not like I can't get through the exercises, I think I'm doing pretty good. Also, I don't care how long it takes me do it. I'm just wondering, aren't you supposed to let your muscles rest when you're using weights and strength training? Or should I just not second guess Jillian Michaels, lol.
I know a lot of you guys are very exercise savvy so I thought I'd ask for your opinions. Thank you! :flowerforyou:

My logic is the same. I would alternate her workout with some other activity like swimming, hiking, jogging, etc. Or, maybe alternate the level of workout each day, like Monday level 1, Tuesday level 2, Wednesday level 3......0
