I bought a bag of dry Pinto Beans from the store. I tried to count and add up the calories but the math was way too off.. It said the Serving size is 1/4 of a cup = (36g),, 60 calories per serving. It also shows 22g of carbs and 7g of protein per serving. I have looked up some info on the webs and they were saying that each gram of carbs is 4 calories and each gram of protein is also 4 calories. However, If you do the math (22g x 4) + (7g x 4) = 116 calories.. Any idea why it didn't add up and come close to their claim? 116 calories isn't close to 60 calories. I'll put that pic somewhere here in my profile page or put the link of the nutrition label here

Fiber doesn't have 4 calories per gram.
(Total carbs - fiber + protein) * 4 = 600 -
Is it possible that they made an error in the serving size and that the serving size is really one half (½) a cup?
The calories fit if the serving is one half a cup.
