Where to go from here?

Hey all!

Ok so I lost a ton of weight over the past year and a half and a few months ago hit my goal weight (YAY!!). Now I don't really know where to go from here regarding how much I should be eating.. I don't necessarily want to lose more weight, but I do have fat that I would like to get rid of! I started doing some strength training over the past few months which I love and would like to continue and improve on that!

So because I want to lose fat but still gain muscle, how many cals should I be aiming towards?!

Any help is greatly appreciated!! :)

where you are new to strength training you can gain some muscle in a deficit. I would suggest either eating at maintenance and lifting heavy, or at a slight deficit (10% below TDEE, or no more than 0.5lb/week goal) Either are viable options. If you do want to lose more fat I would suggest the slight deficit, then when you like what you see, continue the weights, but up your cals to maintenance at that time.

NP. In either case the muscle gain/fat loss will be slow going, but you should be making noticeable gains in strength. I suggest taking measurements and pics so you can see the progress comparing say two months out with today.
