Hello all, I'm not new to the site. I actually was able to Lose 50lbs due to my fitness pal. By losing that Weight I was blessed with my first baby girl. Now I'm close to where I started in the beginning, -.- got a long road ahead of me, and I also want to try for baby#2. So my question is are any of you breastfeeding and counting calories? If so how do you do it without hurting milk supply? My baby is 7 months old and we're introducing solids

I also just recently had a baby and I am breastfeeding. I would actually like to know the same thing. I have seen a few different articles on dieting and breastfeeding but i would like to know what people are actually doing.

I found some great info on ehow.com on breastfeeding and dieting. Here is the link:

I also found an older conversation thread from myfitnesspal. The most helpful thing I found was that you can enter in negative calories for your breastfeeding in your food diary. I have tried it and it works. I just used the quick tool of adding calories. I do -500 because this is the average amount of calories ehow says you burn when breastfeeding.
Here is the link for this as well.

I hope this is helpful. I am going try it out this week and see how it goes.
