    I write it quite often. Whenever the mood strikes. I carry my journal around with me. I prefer to write free verse and sometimes I get into Iambic pentameter. Just depends on my mood.

    I write "custom" poetry...invitations, graduation poems, birthdays, memorials, various poems for teachers, rhymes for scavenger hunts, etc. My "Christmas Card" every year is actually a New Years poem reflecting on the year past and thoughts on the New Year. Currently I'm trying my hand at some song lyrics. Very excited about that. :)
