Best headphones for running with ipod

I am training to run a 5k and my runs are very boring so im buying an ipod this week...ear buds don't stay in place on me very well and i was just wondering if anyone had some good recommendations for ones that are inexpensive and work well?

    Sony makes some really good ones for cheap. If you're willing to spend a little extra for something high quality, you can't possibly go wrong with the Beats by Dre Tour headphones. The sound is incredible and they never fall out on me when I'm working out.

    I prefer ones that go around the back of the head because they always stay on. If you see ones that go around the ears only avoid them they are uncomfortable as heck.

    the kind i like don't go into your ears, they sit outside your ears, but they have a little curved hook that keeps them in place on top of your ear. the hooks curls around the outside of your ear, like how a pair of sunglasses holds on.

    I used to use the ones that came with my ipod and they worked great for me..until I lost one of the ear buds. Then, I used my husbands (skull candy earbuds). I fell in love with them and asked him to get me some for Christmas. They stay in really well for me and they come with three different sizes so you can try each out and see which ones work best for you. I've seen them almost everywhere...just saw them at Books A Million yesterday actually. Good luck on your 5K!!

    I like the skullcandy smoking buds but I use noise reducing tips (the ones that look like earplugs) on them instead of the ones that come from skullcandy. They stay in a lot better and I get much better bass response. About $15 for the earbuds and $6 for the tips from ebay.

    These are SO much more comfortable and better sounding then Apple's High End IN-EAR earbud
    Sound is phenomenal actually-- and they didn't budge cycling home tonight... and you can run tap water over them to clean them when you're done working out...Can't wait to run with them tomorrow!
