Stupid new MFP Nutritional Advice feature - Terrible Choice!

Honestly...I mean. I had a Onion Rings as a snack in a pub last night... Battered, Fried Onion Rings. It's OK... I planned to have them but to be told they were a great choice because of their fibre content is just silly. Not motivational...

I had Taco Bell today, and it applauded me for picking a food high in protein. You have to laugh!

I just take the comments with a grain of salt.

LOL... Wow. I actually think it might be quite cool and useful thing. I like being congratulated for making really sensible choices but it is like having a really sycophantic friend who insists everything you do is amazing... After a while you can't take them very very seriously.
  • Wait seriously? I haven't seen this but it sounds kind of hilarious, where is it? I'm on a computer, BTW.

Hmmm.. think of it this way. All food is just good since it's food and has certain benifits so enjoy those and balance out the negatives later like high calories you maybe don't need that time later on. Oh and yes just ignore it. I've never seen it but I'm using my computer and not phone.

It's on my Android app. When I log food, it gives me little feedback.

Like as I approached my carb limit for the day, it gave me a red comment "Remember your carb goal is xxx grams"

When I ate a sandwich "Good choice! This food item is high in protein!"

I tracked half a kilo of human flesh yesterday and it warned me about my fat levels...

You def need to be choosing lean meats instead.
