I have tried the Soy EAS from walmart...Not a bad flavor...but come from a small town and they only have vanilla (20 grams of protien.....but reasonably priced.....Then I bought some off Amazon Pure Protien Whey Chocolate 25 g of protien its ehhhh...okay.....but my question, does anyone else have a favorite that taste great? Just curious cause i am sometimes to busy to stop and eat breakfast and this is a great source..or if i am almost to my limit at night this is perfect to finish the day.......

I LOVE the whey protein from Wal-Mart... The cheap stuff too, has 25 grams of protein per scoop and cost about 23$ for a tub. I've had the expensive stuff and still like this stuff more. It mixes well and goes down smooth. Some of the pricier stuff I've had mixes like garbage and always seems "gritty" no matter how much you let the blender run! Chocolate or strawberry... don't like the vanilla flavor! :)

I second the WalMart cheap stuff. It's like 25-30g/protein for 130 calories so little fat or carbs in the mix.

EAS 100% Whey has great chocolate and vanilla flavor. Vanilla one tastes like custard, if you mix it in milk (which I normally do).
  • Powerbar are the best tasing shakes I find. Low carb and low fat too. they taste just like milkshake...non of the buring aftertase you get with some others!

I get Nutrex from SupplementWarehouse.com. Chocolate Beast flavor is unbelievably good. I'm not as much of a vanilla fan with any powder but I like Nutrex's vanilla as well.

I've kind of given up the protein shakes and just shifted to more lean protein meals when I can. The shakes never really got me that "full" feeling I would get from actual food. Obviously though, they are convenient for the schedule.

If you want to mix things up a bit and sort of round out the calories, when I made them I often used vanilla flavored ones and then added in some frozen fruit (berries and bananas) and ice to make it more of a shake. Only takes a minute to add the stuff in and then you get some carbs to start the day off with too.

I use the Leanfit whey protein powder that my cousin gave me, and maybe a 'Protein Blast' from BioX that I get at the 7-11 down the street. It's got 30gs of protein for a fairly small can. c:
